August Highlights:
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the beloved stop-motion film Coraline. Coraline was a novel written by Neil Gaiman, and up until recently I had never read the book nor seen the movie adaptation. When I saw that the film was being re-released in theatres, I thought it was my sign to finally pick up the book and buy a ticket to the theatre. While I enjoyed the book, the movie was truly fantastic; I can’t believe it took me this long to watch it – but I am so grateful that I finally did and that I got to see it in a theatre!
